Holiday Stress affects most adults, but this year may be particularly challenging. This time of year is supposed to be filled with joy and anticipation, but leaves many feeling overwhelmed. Fortunately, there are several things that you can do to lessen or prevent these effects.  1. Eat Well Consider starting each day with a healthy breakfast, making sure to include fruits and vegetables. Do not skip meals. Feel free to enjoy Christmas treats, but remember too many can leave you crashing later. Offer to bring your favorite healthy dish to the family dinner.  2. Even with social distancing and limiting in-person parties this year, we may still be tempted to indulge in these rich and tasty seasonal offerings. There is no need to worry! You can still balance a little enjoyment and still keep your health in balance.      1.     Be Consistent! Try starting your day with a small meal that includes whole grains, fruit, vegetables and some type of lean protein. Do not skip meals!      2.     Snack Before!
